Dorothy originally opened on Valentine’s Day 2020.

COVID shut the bar down one month later. After another attempt to reopen in January of 2022, Dorothy officially reopened to the public as a lesbian bar on July 22nd, 2022.

We are located at 2500 W Chicago Ave on the lower level. You can access our bar by entering through the red door on Chicago Ave. All guests must be 21+ with a physical ID.

Our bar is part of the Drinking Policy Hospitality Collective by owners Zoe Schor and Whitney LaMora.

ACCESSIBILITY

• Dorothy has elevator access for any guest who needs it, located on Campbell Avenue. Call 773-770-3799 when you arrive and our team will assist you in!

• Dorothy is equipped with four gender neutral ADA restrooms.
