Heidi Hoblit Graham’s (she/her) first love was theatre and storytelling; she has dedicated her life to giving agency to young artists. She started as a high school drama teacher but was called to the craft of motherhood. While her children were young, she offered neighborhood children an opportunity to create their own theatre, Stonegate Kids. While managing Stonegate Kids, the participants had authority over all creative aspects of the show. During the fifteen years of SK, they raised over twenty-five thousand dollars for various charities and made incredible magic. Heidi honed her leadership abilities with The League of Women Voters, serving as President of one of the nation’s largest local Leagues and on the State board. Heidi has recently joined the Board of Directors for A Red Orchid Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. AROT is one of the pre-eminent ensemble theatres.
