Dr. V is bringing the therapy room to Dorothy! Join us for a night of laughs and tender moments in this "talk show style" format as Dr. V gets real about the world of queer dating.

Combining their expertise in LGBTQ+ health, astrology, and depth psychology, Dr. V is turning up the mic to normalize your plights, serve tea, and provide a space for our community to grapple with the realities of intimacy in 2025. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, get some love, and snag a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of a queer psychotherapist.

Doors at 6pm with a one hour happy hour until our show begins at 7pm. Dorothy remains open after the event until 11pm.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $17 at the door.

ABOUT DR. V

Dr. Valerie Velarde is a psychologist, activist, therapist, and witch. They have dedicated the past 15 years to providing mental health support and advocacy to the LGBTQ+ community and those most impacted by societal injustice, including those who are housing vulnerable or incarcerated. In the last 10 years as a psychotherapist, Dr. V has witnessed the common threads that bind and maintain collective pain and trauma. Now, they are stepping out of the therapy room to bring their uncensored expertise to the queer, trans, poly, and kinky communities. During their free time, Dr. V leads a spiritual life focused on embodiment, astrology, and worship; playing with their two black cats; and loving on their delicious partner.
