Buy You, The World: a short film fundraiser

Join us for a night of Black queer stand up comedy at your local lesbian bar to raise money for the production of local Chicago lesbian short film Buy You, The World (@buyyou.theworld_film) directed by Eve Wright (@theevewright).

Featuring comedians: Nitty Frazier, KJ Whitehead, Alesha Alexcee, Morgan Leigh, Kim Iheme, and Chloe Mikala.

Buy You, The World is a dark surrealist satire that follows an immortal woman as she attempts to convince a stranger to kill her during their road trip to the End of the World. Think “Thelma and Louise” meets “Dracula” with a surrealist twist. Director, producers, and key crew will be in attendance so come say hi and laugh for good!

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Doors open at 6pm and the comedy show kicks off at 7pm. Dorothy remains open until 11pm.

Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical or mobile ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black door with our logo in the window and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799
