Join us on January 8th for a screening of COME SEE ME IN THE GOOD LIGHT at Dorothy. Along with the screening of the film, we will be inviting five poets to open the evening with sharing their favorite work by Andrea Gibson.
Along with the screening and sharing of work, Chicago Public Library will be popped up with us with copies of Andrea's work to borrow along with other library resources.
We will also be collecting donations for Gilda's Club Chicago who provides free cancer support for families enduring the fight. Donations may be made ahead of time with your RSVP or night-of.
Featuring Chicago poets Unique Ware, Darshita Jain, Bridget Gordon & Marty McConnell.
Doors at 6pm and our poets will begin at 7pm directly before the film. Dorothy remains open after the event until 11pm.
Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical or mobile ID for all who enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black door with our logo in the window and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799
