DOROTHY DEBUTS is a new event offering expanding the opportunities for more DJs to feature at Dorothy - and more cover free nights to get your dance on at Dorothy! Save a few bucks and see people play who have never gotten behind the decks in our lounge before.

Our debut event is on JUNE 6TH featuring DJs DaiGroovie & ACONST. From 9-11pm DJ DaiGroovie will be playing an eclectic & genre fusion set followed by ACONST from 11-1am with a crowd-driven disco, 90s r&b, house and groove set.

Doors at 6pm and the dancefloor kicks off at 9pm. No cover all night!

ABOUT THE DJs

Np0 / DJ DaiGroovie is an eclectic DJ, artist, and producer hailing from the West Side of Chicago. With a background rooted in innovation and groove, he has brought his sound to major stages—including the Pygmalion Festival, where he opened for JPEGMAFIA, performances for Mayor Lori Lightfoot, and shows across Chicago and the Champaign-Urbana music scene. He holds a degree in Music Technology and is currently pursuing his master’s in the field, blending technical expertise with artistic vision. Through his music and art, Np0 / DJ DaiGroovie creates spaces that amplify underrepresented voices and shed light on overlooked issues, using sound as both expression and platform.

DJ ACONST is a 23 year old lesbian open format dj from cincinnati ohio. She loves playing music that’s the right vibe and keeps the people moving! She is crowd driven and loves connecting with the entire venue. She specifically loves disco, house, 90s rnb and more and will guide you on a journey of all types of music all night.
