Dorothy POP! is a monthly pop dance party hosted by Scissor with music by Memoirs featuring the hottest queer drag & burlesque talent throughout the night. Sponsored by Grey Goose and Bombay Sapphire, Join us on October 24th for an incredible collaboration with the one and only team behind STRAPPED!
Music kicks off at 9pm followed by performances starting at 10:30pm by Scissor, Irregular Girl & Siichele! Performances til Midnight & then we transition to a cover free DJ set by El Gato from Midnight til 2am.
Doors at 6pm and our $10 cover runs from 8:30pm til Midnight Get in early for a cover free night or make Dorothy your final stop and get in for free.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
Scissor has teamed up with the Dorothy team to produce a monthly pop music dance party to create a space for lesbians and sapphics to dance, mingle & embrace the joy that has longtime been embodied by the pop music genre. Scissor is a lesbian temptress who charms the room with her wit, cheekiness & lack of clothing. She is a tattooed party girl with lover boy tendencies. Part time drag queen, full time diva.
Siichele is a Chicago based draglesque performer and makeup artist. She is the co-host of Strapped, a monthly lesbian drag show at the Empty Bottle. She was recently featured in Gab magazine with her co-host. Her makeup work has also been featured in Rolling Stone and Peacock’s Queer As Folk.
Irregular Girl is Chicago’s trans diva latina 💓 She is the cohost of lesbian drag show Strapped, which is now in its fifth year of programming. Her performance style draws for burlesque, performance art, theater, and being extremely gorgeous and gay as hell.
Memoirs hosts Dorothy Pop & Emo Nights at Dorothy and is known for fun, energetic, community-oriented sing-a-long sets. She loves this monthly pop party and can't wait to sing with all of you. Hayley Williams will always be involved.
El Gato (Malandro) is a Venezuelan-born, Miami-raised latincore jester whose mission as a DJ is simple: creating a sweaty dance floor with a focus on latinx / global electronic music. Bringing high-energy club edits with a guaracha/latin twist, El Gato sets are fueled by a love of dance and queer sexiness.
