In PRESS PLAY - Octavia K. & Toni Bush are facilitating an evening of conversation around music artists, queerness, gay inspiration and realization!
The nostalgic jams by people who molded our perspectives between teen angst and first crushes, revolutionaries who influenced our taste, and symbols of freedom who taught us to find our own paths.
Join us as we listen to some of the first pieces to express longing that aligned with queerness, accompanied by prompted questions as we pass the mic around to the audience encouraging you to join in the conversation!
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Doors open at 6pm and our intentional listening & discussions begin at 7pm. Dorothy remains open until 11pm.
Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical or mobile ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black doors with our logo in the window and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799
