The Dyke van Dyke Show is a variety drag show that prioritizes booking disabled BIPOC performers. At this month's show, the theme is DYKES OF THE FLOWER MOON.
Expect to be taken on a journey of death, rebirth, transformation, and erratic behavior, through the cosmos to the flower moon.
This is a mask-required event at a bar. Guests who are able to wear a well-fitted respirator (N95, KN95, KF94 or equivalent) should do so at all times. Free high-quality masks will be available at check-in. Guests will be permitted to temporarily move their respirators in designated areas to sip drinks, and otherwise are expected to wear a well-fitted mask at all other times"
Air filters will be provided by Clean Air Club and masks will be provided by Parallel Play Chicago.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Ten tickets are reserved for at the door night of purchases (card only). Dorothy is CASHLESS - bring cash with to tip your performers!
Doors at 6pm with a one hour happy hour before our show begins at 7pm. Dorothy remains open after the show until last call at 11pm.
Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black door on Campbell Ave with our logo in the window and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
OCDeezNutz is a Disabled, Mexican, Mayo/Yoreme, QT2 Spirit Artist, who goes by many names and uses Ki/Kin pronouns. Ki is a professional actor, a trained singer, and an experienced writer. You may have seen Kin performing drag around the city under the names Pinky and The Brain Damage, Mari Juan Nero, or during “Hora de Cuentinflas”; a Spanish Immersive Storytime with Mexican Music.
