ongue-Tied is our exploration of connection that transcends the common tongue and our love letter to global music.
Through physical performance and by commemorating music in different languages, we explore human connection without necessarily sharing a common tongue. We provide an opportunity for our performers to explore acts that may be deemed "non-bookable", as well as a chance for our audience members to discover new music & forms of communication.
As a part of loving and appreciating our communities around the world, we will also be calling attention and collecting donations for a local org in need. This show will also be mask-mandatory as a way to protect each other and make this event accessible for our immunocompromised friends.
Hosted by Juniper Faewild & Monsieur Bombastic, this show features Spade Slick, Dear Jamie, Koda Pendants, Georgia Rising, Honey Bee Rose, Camille Leon and is supported by Kitten Sinful Delight.
Doors at 6pm with a one hour happy hour until our show begins at 7pm. Dorothy remains open after the show until last call at 11pm.
Tickets are $30 for VIP seating / stage view and a sliding scale of $15-$25 for General Admission. Tickets at the door will be $25.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Juniper Faewild is a producer of TONGUE-TIED, as well as the co-producer of TBOY TUESDAY (a queer pop up strip club) and QTPOC from Chicago, IL! He's an artist of many mediums such as oddities, costuming and performance. His style ranges from cheeky & chaotic to gothic & erotic. He's inspired by the weird & wonderful and invites you into his world!
Monsieur Bombastic is the other producer of TONGUE-TIED. The harlequin king whose taste for extravagance sends him well over his head! Monsieur Bombastic is an atypical, internationally recognized draglesque king who has been showcasing his visual artwork for a wide variety of audiences for as long as he could creep on all fours. He was nominated for Best Newcomer King and Best Conceptual Drag Artist in 2024's Gaggy Awards and was a finalist in seasons 16 and 18 of the competition series Survivor Chicago. He is also the co-producer of Open Cabaret's All King Cabaret.

Dear Jamie is a force made up of colorful passions and talents. They are currently taking a break as a mental health therapist to explore human connection and healing through alternative mediums; music and drag. Their songwriting and performance style is heavily influenced by their unique and/or completely relatable experiences that derive from living life through the lens of a queer, neurodivergent, AFAB, Korean first-generation immigrant. They believe that their intersectionality brings a fresh perspective into their art, and with their powerhouse voice and open vulnerability, Dear Jamie aims to make their audience be unafraid to feel their emotions.

Georgia Rising is the alt glam alien pop star of Chicago drag. When she’s not performing you can find her running an astrology newsletter called Saturn Baby or running Shooting Star, a collective to support Chicago’s disabled drag artists.
Honey Bee Rose is an award-winning entertainer based in Chicago, USA and travels throughout the world headlining festivals with jaw dropping strip-tease performances, teaching her infamous stage confidence classes, and brings joy, wit and charm to audiences alike. With her mischievous side smile & unapologetic prowess, this fiery Latina-Filipina is one of the most hypnotizing artists to watch! Nature’s Golden Nectar with sweetness in every drop, she is the first recipient to be named Gaggy’s Nightlife Best Burlesque Entertainer of the Year and was crowned Burlesque Hall of Fame’s 2024 Mx. Exotic World, current Reigning Queen of Burlesque! The Glittering Goddess with the Heart of Gold, Honey Bee Rose is traveling around the world pollinating her compassionate love for learning, one stage at a time.
Our next performer has been shaking it for the past 12 years, and has performed with Kiss Kiss Cabaret, Vertical Sideshow, Feva Pitch Productions, and a performer with Jeezy’s Juke Joint. She performed in the Movers and Shakers showcase at the Burlesque Hall of Fame, and headlined the Wisconsin Burlesque Festival. She’ll change right before your eyes, It’s Camille Leon!
