Dia Jane & Friends: Chicago Indie at Dorothy

Three femme / lesbian fronted bands take the stage at Dorothy for a night of music and community featuring Dia Jane (indie rock), Lace for Leisure (indie rock), and The Devil Said Jump (folk rock).

Doors open at 6pm with a one hour happy hour before our show begins at 7pm!

Tickets are $12 in advance and $17 at the door.

Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black door on Campbell Ave and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS

Dia Jane is an indie rock and pop singer and songwriter based in Chicago. She first released music with Jo Mackenzie as duo Baby and the Brain in the summer of 2021 with album "Brainbaby", before releasing her debut solo single "Father's Daughter" later that year. She is working towards her first solo EP, to release in fall of 2025, with lead single "Bad Dog" to release in the summer

Lace for Leisure is an indie rock band based in Chicago, Illinois. The femme-fronted band formed in 2023 and has performed all over the Chicago area in venues such as Subterranean, Cobra Lounge, Bookclub, and Fallen Log. The group has released four singles on streaming services, and they are currently working to release their debut album, "It's a Gift, It's a Cage."

The Devil Said Jump is your girlfriend’s favorite band. The project of songwriters Emily Franke and Megan Loveless is a mix of Queer, Lyrical Pop, Folk Rock, and Cowboy Country. They’ve made a name for their gut-wrenchingly honest songwriting and harmonies all over Chicago with their debut album "All Shook Up” which can be found on all streaming platforms.
