Life Is A Queer Cabaret is back at Dorothy's to celebrate Pride Month with a night of musical theatre and queerness!
This cabaret invites performers to challenge traditional musical theatre gender norms in a celebration of queer expression. What does it mean for Cabaret’s Emcee to be played by a woman? For Jack Kelly to be queer? For Audrey or Seymour to be played by trans actors?
Identities hold significance and power, and with a backlog of many cis, often straight or straight-assumed characters, there is value in exploring and changing the narrative.
