Dorothy POP! is a monthly pop dance party hosted by Scissor with music by Memoirs featuring the hottest queer drag & burlesque talent throughout the night. Join us on August 15th as we celebrate SONGS OF THE SUMMER - pop hits from this summer, songs that feel like summer and summertime anthems from summers past!
Music kicks off at 9pm followed by performances starting at 10:30pm by Scissor, Sundae & Ramona Slick! Performances til Midnight & then we transition to a cover free DJ set by Veri Peri from Midnight til 2am.
Doors at 6pm and our $10 cover runs from 8pm til Midnight Get in early for a cover free night or make Dorothy your final stop and get in for free.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
Scissor has teamed up with the Dorothy team to produce a monthly pop music dance party to create a space for lesbians and sapphics to dance, mingle & embrace the joy that has longtime been embodied by the pop music genre. Scissor is a lesbian temptress who charms the room with her wit, cheekiness & lack of clothing. She is a tattooed party girl with lover boy tendencies. Part time drag queen, full time diva.
Sundae is a sugary-sweet draglesque artist that puts the cherry on top! 🍦🍒 She brings the flavor with her high energy performances, cute cosplays, and big naturals! You can also catch her whipping up our posters every month here at Dorothy Pop!
Ramona Slick is Chicago’s cult classic and host of Rated Q at Music Box Theatre

Veri Peri is a Chicago-based Cuban DJ that curates musical landscapes for real lovers of the dancefloor. A shapeshifter in self and sound, Veri Peri’s sets mix latin tek, reggaeton, tribal techno, speed dembow, bass, pop-club edits, and more. Veri Peri is also the founder of clu(b)rat and co-founder of angel:fluid, Chicago’s premiere lesbian dark rave.
